Welcome to our website.
We hope you find it useful and enjoy your visit.
The Church of St Giles’ Balderton has been privileged to serve the local community for eight centuries. In our day we continue to work to make the love of God, supremely revealed to us in the life of Jesus Christ, known to our parish. At the heart of all we do lies our worship of God in response to His gracious love for us. St Giles is a traditional Anglican church. We value our heritage whilst enjoying the best of fresh expressions of worship, and extend a warm welcome to all our visitors.
We would be delighted to welcome you to one of our services, details of which can be found in our calendar. Alternatively you may wish to come along to one of our social events or groups that regularly meet throughout the month (see the events and groups pages). You would be made most welcome.
For many people especially those seeking to make plans for either baptism or marriage their first contact is with the vicar and churchwardens at Vestry Hour which is held every Tuesday evening 6.00pm – 7.00pm in the Church Vestry. This is a drop-in session and no appointment is necessary.
Church is open every Wednesday afternoon when visitors are welcome to join us for a cup of tea.
May-Sept 2-4pm; Oct-April 2-3pm
If you are new to the area or exploring issues of faith, we would love to hear from you.
